Physiotherapy At Home & How It Works

The Physiotherapist will conduct a detailed initial assessment before starting your session at home, based on which a customized treatment plan would be formulated. The service’s duration ranges from 30 minutes to 1 hour based on the procedure and the patient’s condition.

We offer weekly and monthly packages according to your needs.

You may select a time slot convenient to you.

At home Physiotherapy sessions are designed to help the patient recover faster whether it is a one-time injury or a chronic illness. .

We select a spacious and good spot in your house, which is well-ventilated, well-lit, and free from any clutter, as the physiotherapist might bring some small exercise equipment for your session.

Wear comfortable clothing.

Ensure you do not wear clothing that impedes your movement as your physiotherapist will need to evaluate your joint stability and movement.

Provide your physiotherapist with information such as how the pain started; what is the nature of the pain and for how long you have been facing the problem.

Be attentive to the exercises shown by your physiotherapist and ask questions if you are unsure about anything. And also be diligent with your exercises to see desired results.

Orthopaedic Physiotherapy

This physiotherapy is used for the rehabilitation of patients who are either planning to undergo surgery or who have already undergone surgery.

Conditions like knee replacement, hip surgery, back surgery, Spinal and peripheral joint problems, fractures, etc. are treated. Treatments mainly include physical activity like exercises, mobilizations, and proprioceptive training. The exercises include stretches, aerobics, strength training, and a range of motion exercises supported by modern medical technology such as IFT, Ultrasound, and manual traction.

Post-Surgical Physiotherapy

This physiotherapy treatment is made especially for those who have undergone surgeries.

Post-Surgical physiotherapy helps in the restoration of activity post any surgery. Mobilization exercises, Muscle strengthening exercises, and stretching exercises are mainly used in this treatment by physical therapists. Common surgeries include the spine, hip, ankle, shoulder, and cardiac surgeries. Using a range of exercises, Physiotherapists help patients regain muscle strength and movement so that they can perform routine tasks as soon as possible.

Physical exercises such as Quadriceps sets, Straight leg raises, Ankle pumps, Knee straightening exercises, Bed-supported knee bends, Sitting supported knee bends, Stair climbing and descending and Sitting unsupported knee bends, etc. help patients re-establish muscle strength, joint motion, full joint movement, and flexibility. Advanced exercises such as Standing knee bends and assisted knee bends are recommended to build optimal strength and functionality, once the patient has regained independence for a shorter distance.
